What is Forum?
The word “forum” comes from Latin and meant “marketplace, open space, public place”. In ancient Rome, the term was understood to mean “place of assembly”.
In the context of city or regional planning, the term “forum” encapsulates what is at the heart of any planner’s work - creating and serving a community. As any major land use action affecting a community at large would normally require input from the public, the term seems all the more appropriate.
This firm is dedicated to providing a full range of city and regional planning services without a focus on any particular facet of planning such as housing or open space, but all of them (including advocacy at the policy level).
